SSAT Scores in Marin County
Understanding SSAT Scores in Marin County
When it comes to SSAT scores accepted by private schools, there’s a scarcity of data out there. In fact, few schools disclose publicly the range of SSAT scores they require for admission. Nevertheless, some data is available as to the relative competitiveness of various private schools in Marin County. Rather than looking at the raw scores of Marin County schools, we can look at the percentile ranges accepted at various schools. Many of our clients have asked for help in locating this data and, in this post, we want to share it with you in the hopes of clarifying the benchmarks for private high schools in Marin County.
This post will focus on three schools: The Branson School, Marin Catholic, Marin Academy. Links to in-depth posts about each school are included below!
Marin Catholic (MC) SSAT Scores
In terms of test scores, Marin Catholic is the least competitive in Marin. This said, because of its status as a catholic high school, Marin Catholic (MC) accepts not the SSAT but the High School Placement Test (HSPT).

The Branson School SSAT Scores
